Why we exist
Small apps. Clear ideas.
Codiry grew out of a simple observation: the apps we reach for every day are rarely the loudest ones. They are the ones that do a single thing and stay out of the way while doing it.
So those are the ones we build. We take on a clearly defined problem, solve it as well as we can, and leave out everything that would only be there for completeness. It takes longer than it sounds — and it is the one part of our work we do not cut short.
We work from Germany, build natively with Swift and SwiftUI, and only release once we would happily use an app ourselves.
The product world
From the first glance to a word of your own
Our apps do not sit side by side, they follow one another: Shapes accompanies the first months of life, „Wenn ich groß bin“ the years full of questions, DailyLine the recording of your own days and DailyClever the wish to say precisely what you mean.
Discovering, learning, remembering, growing — that is not a bracket we found afterwards, it is the reason we start an app at all. If an idea does not fit under it, we do not build it.
What we hold to
Four principles
Accessible to everyone
Dynamic Type, VoiceOver, sufficient contrast and reduced motion are part of the baseline for us, not something for a later update.
Sparing with data
We store what a feature needs — preferably on your device or in your own iCloud. None of it is ever sold.
Reachable
Support here comes from the same people who wrote the code. It keeps the answers honest.
